Chapter 194 You're The Reason Stella's shoes landed with a crunch on the shattered glass. Each step made the glass crunch louder beneath her feet. On the other side of the car, Jake, looking a bit goofy, rolled Sebastian over in his wheelchair. Jake couldn't help but sigh, his mind full of dramatic thoughts as he took in the chaos around him. 'I even asked them nicely to move out of the way, Jake muttered to himself. Jake shook his head. The lon Wing Drones employees, who'd already been warned by Jake to move away, just kept staring at Stella.

Then they looked at the busted door, then back at Stella, and then at the door again. They kept doing that. Everyone was just speechless. They thought, 'Holy shit, that was intense' Stella strode out, her expression icy and unreadable. With every step, the menacing crunch of shattered glass under her shoes sent chills down everyone's spine. Outside, the scene was pure chaos. People were groaning and wailing everywhere. Xander had learned his lesson from last time and brought in some real heavy hitters.

They were ready to throw down, but nobody told them they'd have to deal with someone crashing a car through the door. Stella didn't even spare them a glance. She beckoned to the Yates family members standing under the scorching sun. Instantly, a thunderous chorus of snaps echoed as dozens of silver suitcases stuffed with millions in cash, which had just been popped open in perfect sync, were now slammed shut in unison. The men in black, each hauling a suitcase, marched straight into lon Wing Drones. "You..." Stella casually pointed at a female employee shivering in the corner.

The girl was on the verge of tears. "I don't know anything! I didn't do anything!" Stella was speechless. She turned to the Yates family. "Come on, don't be so icy. Give her a smile." The Yates family just stood there, silent. Jake thought, 'Ms. Carter, ever considered she's crying because you scared the life out of her?' Forced by Stella's sheer presence, dozens of six-foot-tall, ridiculously handsome men in black all turned to the girl and flashed her the exact same international-standard smile. The girl just stared, completely speechless. Her tears dried up on the spot. She blushed hard.

She was dying to scream. She was so overwhelmed. 'This insane stroke of luck is totally mine!' she thought, practically vibrating with excitement. Stella said, "Could you please take them to the Chief Accountant, and then up to the CEO's office on the top floor?" "Got it!" The girl jumped up without a second thought 1/4 Successfully unlocked! Chapter 194 You're The Reason She shot up and dashed off at once. Stella was speechless. 'Guess this really is a world where looks are everything, she thought. Upstairs, the conversation went on.

Penelope said, "Blake, you have no idea how valuable that land in the South District is. If you keep it, it'll just go to waste. Why not let Xander take over? "Pierce Group will pay lon Wing Drones regular dividends. Both you and Pierce Group will benefit from this." Her words sounded like a negotiation, but it was obvious that she was here to get her way, no matter what. Blake looked at Penelope, his expression complicated.

"Aunt Penelope, how do you know I can't make something out of that land?" Ever since he was a kid, Blake had always thought Penelope was the one who cared about him the most. Whenever he wanted to ditch school, she just let him. Whenever he felt like gaming all day, she never said a word. She even got him his own place and paid someone to take care of him. Back when things were rough with his grandpa, he did think about just swallowing his pride and making up. After his parents passed, it was just some dumb arguments with his grandpa at first.

He didn't know how it got so bad that they ended up not talking for years. He didn't get it until after that dinner at the Lane residence where Stella taught him a scheme he'd never heard before. Killing with kindness. Smothered by praise until one was crushed. And that was how he ended up as the most useless heir in all of Ostville. If it hadn't been for Nova Legends, that wild in-game wedding, and the lessons he got from Starfall and Moondust, Blake would've spent his whole life as that immature, arrogant Arrogant Wind, thinking he was invincible. He'd have never amounted to anything.

Penelope said, "Blake, it's not that I'm underestimating you. It's just... you've never really grown up all these years." Blake kept his face blank. "But wasn't it you who taught me all this?" He lifted his head, straightening his spine just like Stella had shown him, and stared right into Penelope's eyes, as if he could see straight through her. The smile on her lips froze. Blake said, "You taught me to be a good-for-nothing. You taught me to just pay my way out of everything. You taught me to act like I'm better than everyone. You taught me to stir up trouble.

"Aunt Penelope, you guys are the reason I turned out like this!" Blake's sidekick was stunned. He thought, 'Not to kill the vibe, but did Mr. Pierce just drop a whole string of serious talk? 'Wow! He's actually making sense now! 'He's not that useless playboy we used to know anymorel' "Mom, stop wasting your breath on him!" Xander straightened his tie and motioned for the thugs at the door to come in. One of the thugs casually locked the door behind them. "Anyone who wants a piece of Mr. Pierce has to get through me first!" Blake's sidekick yelled, throwing his arms out to shield Blake.

2/4 Chapter 194 You're The Reason But before he could even finish, a fist smashed into his face. Then he went down, face-first. The thug didn't even flinch and just stepped right over his body like it was nothing. Blake didn't know what to say. With a heavy thud, Blake was slammed face-first onto the desk, right into a pile of resignation letters. Suddenly, it struck him that lon Wing Drones was on the brink, just like he was now, barely holding on. 'Stella... Blake thought, his heart aching. "Make him sign!" Xander's mask was off now.

Ruthlessness and self-interest were written all over his face. The thug smirked and yanked Blake's right hand forward. Xander said, "He's left-handed." The thug was speechless. Silently, the thug switched to Blake's left hand. Blake shouted, "Go to hell! I'm not signing shit!" Right under his hand was a so-called "joint development" contract for the South District land. It actually was just a scheme for Xander and Penelope to rip Blake off for every last cent. The thug, stone-faced, jammed the pen into Blake's palm, trying to force him to sign.

"I'm not signing!" Blake gritted his teeth, refusing to give in. His wrist felt like it was about to snap. Then, with a sickening crack, the thug wrenched his joint out of place. Pain flooded his entire body in an instant. Blake was like a wounded but defiant animal. He didn't make a sound, and cold sweat plastered his face as he stared straight at Xander and Penelope, his nostrils flaring from the pain. Penelope said, "Why bother? Blake, just sign now and you won't have to suffer so much." She looked at him with a pitying gaze.

"Honestly, your grandpa handed you this hot potato, lon Wing Drones, just so you'd let it fall apart. Why fight it?" Even now, she couldn't help but sow discord. Normally, Blake would've blown up at those words, but this time, a sudden laugh broke out. "You have no idea what lon Wing Drones is worth! It's worth far more than Pierce Group! That's exactly why Grandpa gave it to me!" Blake could only watch, powerless, as the thug spread out the contract and gripped his hand tight, ready to force his signature onto the page. He thought, 'Stella... 'Please, hurry up!

'Please, I need you!' Blake shut his eyes tight, pain flooding through him, and prayed for a miracle. The next second, it was like the universe answered his prayer. Just as the thug was about to force his signature, something happened outside the CEO's office. There was a sudden noise at the door. Everyone in the room snapped their heads around to look. With a deafening crash, the heavy black walnut door-hinges and all, weighing a ton-just came crashing down in one piece. The whole room was dead silent. Stella coolly retracted her foot from the busted door.

"Looks like we meet again." Talk about a legendary entrance. 3/4 Editorial Board Editorial Board Our editorial team works behind the scenes to refine each chapter, maintain consistency, and deliver the best reading experience.
