Chapter 281 You Want To Open It Yourself? "She may be young, but she's got a great temper and always knows how to reason things out," Sebastian said, sounding genuinely impressed. His expression was unusually serious. Allan happened to walk by just in time to catch this, and for a moment, he was at a loss for words. 'Who could disagree with that?' Allan thought to himself. 'Our Stella is the most polite and reasonable little fairy ever!' Allan couldn't help but gush inwardly. Balthazar, still a bit dazed, blurted out, "Oh, really?" Balthazar thought to himself, 'Man, this is wild.
'Guess she's way more impressive than she lets on!' Stella strolled over to Sebastian, and when she looked up, she was met with Balthazar's doting, fatherly gaze. She paused for a moment, and before she knew it, Sebastian had already taken her hand in his, as if it were the most natural thing in the world. "Emerson!" came an excited female voice from not far away, her tone sweet and full of surprise. 'She just called him Emerson?' Stella wondered, a little taken aback. Stella arched an eyebrow and glanced over in the direction of the voice.
She spotted a woman with perfectly styled curls, dressed head-to-toe in Chanel chic, clutching a drone as she hurried over to Emerson. Her polished look was totally out of place in the Peacekeeper Camp. "Who's she?" Emily asked, sounding a bit curious. Stella gave Sebastian a lazy glance. Sebastian was speechless. His eyes were unusually confused. After a while, "A woman," he said, not bothering to elaborate. Sebastian never wasted words. Stella was speechless! Emily was left speechless. Allan was stunned. Balthazar didn't know what to say.
On the other side, after the woman finished speaking with Emerson, he turned and walked over to their group. Balthazar cleared his throat and said, "Ms. Porter." Stella registered the name, 'Porter?' Stella, who had been idly lowering her gaze, glanced at the woman. There wasn't much emotion in her gaze. But Emerson caught that look. "Eulalia is a friend of my sister's. She came here to check out some local projects in Farronia, but got mistaken for a camp doctor and was taken away by accident," he explained. While speaking, Emerson introduced Eulalia to the group. "This is Mr.
Gray, and..." "Mr. Gray," Eulalia jumped in, cutting him off before he could finish introducing Stella. She turned to Sebastian with a warm smile. "I've heard your name back when I was with the Knight family." She offered her hand as she spoke. 1/4 Chapter 281 You Want To Open It Yourself? "It's a pleasure to finally meet you," Eulalia said, her smile perfectly poised. Her smile was perfectly poised. Sebastian shot her a cold look, saying nothing and not even bothering to take her hand. Things got tense in an instant.
Allan covered his eyes like he couldn't bear to watch, lips twitching with a hidden grin. If it weren't for the setting, he'd totally whistle for the drama. Emerson frowned, about to step in and smooth things over for Eulalia, but then Stella spoke up in her usual lazy drawl, "Is that a drone?" She lifted her hand, looking almost too lazy to care, like she might just reach out and touch it, but Eulalia was quicker, dodging out of the way before Stella could even get close. "Don't touch it," Eulalia said, giving Stella a warning glance.

Emily started to say something, "You!" But before she could finish, Stella raised her hand to stop her. Emily turned to look at Stella, only to see that she wasn't the least bit upset. In fact, there was even a faint smile tugging at her lips. Eulalia quickly explained, "What I mean is, Ms. Stella, if you don't know much about drones, it's best not to touch them. "I went through a lot just to bring this one back, and I was planning to disassemble it right here to see if there's any special tech inside." "Disassemble it?" Stella gave her a teasing look. Eulalia flashed a bright smile.
"Yeah." There was a hint of pride in her voice, but she totally missed the way everyone else glanced at each other when she implied Stella was clueless about drones. Eulalia, thinking she'd just wowed the crowd with her explanation, went on, "When I got caught up with those armed guys, I noticed this drone looks like it's got some new tech from Monterra. If we could get our hands on it..." But before she could finish, a soldier came running over, breathless and panicked. "Chief!" Balthazar frowned and asked, "What is it?" The soldier gulped. "Lions. So many lions! They're everywhere!
They've got us surrounded!" There were only a few at first, but now there are hundreds, and more keep showing up! Balthazar gaped and asked, "Lions?" Before the shock could even settle, Stella just shrugged and said in her usual laid-back tone, "Let them in." Balthazar looked confused. Balthazar and the soldier both whipped their heads around to stare at her, looking totally confused. Seeing the puzzled looks on their faces, Stella just tilted her head, sounding almost bored, "They're looking for me." Balthazar was stunned, The soldier didn't know what to say.
A minute later, the whole camp was dead silent. Just seconds ago, the lion king was all fangs and fury at the gate. Now he was glued to Stella, rolling around on the ground like an oversized housecat, shamelessly begging for hugs. The rest of the lions were just as ridiculous, flopping over and vying for attention. For a while, the Peacekeeper Camp looked less like a military base and more like a giant kitty playground. Everyone stood there, dumbstruck. 2/4 Chapter 281 You Want To Open It Yourself?
Eulalia, still clutching her drone, bit her lip and kept quiet, feeling a little miffed that everyone's attention had suddenly shifted away from her. She called out, trying to redirect the focus back to herself, "Balthazar, can you get someone to grab me some tools?" She spoke up, determined to steal the spotlight back. Stella, still casually running her fingers through the lion's mane, looked up at Eulalia with a playful smirk. "Ms. Porter, are you sure you want to take it apart yourself?" The soft, fluffy feeling in her palm kept Stella in a good mood.
Meanwhile, Emily, for some reason jolted by Stella's words, clutched her plain plant and scooted even closer, clearly eager to see what would happen next. 'Stella never asks dumb questions!' Emily thought to herself, nodding along. 'No doubt about it!' she mentally agreed, nodding even harder. Emily was basically bobbing her head in total agreement. Eulalia just flashed a confident smile. "Relax, I actually know quite a bit about drones." Stella gave her a meaningful look and said, "Honestly, I'd advise against it." Eulalia just ignored her, acting like Stella hadn't said anything at all.
Emerson looked like he wanted to say something, but just kept quiet. Balthazar glanced at Sebastian, then said, "I'll call in the Specialist Tech Team for this." In no time, a tech specialist from the team came over with a bunch of tools. Eulalia took the tools, tied her hair back into a ponytail, looking all business. But just as she was about to get started, a streak of light shot right across her vision. Eulalia was shocked. Eulalia said, "What the...?" 'What was that just now?' Eulalia wondered, completely baffled.
Allan zipped over like a flash, calm as ever, and parked himself next to Stella. "Honestly, I feel like the safest spot in the world is right here with Stella!" Emily was left speechless. She just rolled her eyes, totally unimpressed. "Ms. Porter, I really think you should," the tech specialist tried to chime in, but Eulalia was already going at the screws like she'd done it a hundred times before, totally confident and in her element. She was in her own world, totally tuning everyone else out.
Meanwhile, Sebastian, who was listening to Balthazar, glanced up and saw Stella, still petting the lion, casually motioning to him with a laid-back gesture, like she was totally unfazed. Sebastian didn't say a word. He turned to Balthazar and said, "Give me a moment," then walked straight over to Stella. As soon as he got close, Stella stood on her tiptoes and cupped both his ears with her hands. Sebastian didn't know what would happen. After a couple of seconds of silence, he copled her and gently covered her ears with his hands. She blinked.
Then, with a playful, almost reckless look, she opened her mouth and silently counted down for Sebastian." Five, four, three, two... one..." As the last number faded from her lips, the very next second. Something blew up. 3/4 Editorial Board Editorial Board Our editorial team works behind the scenes to refine each chapter, maintain consistency, and deliver the best reading experience.
