Chapter 364 12% 55 vouchers The entire street had been renovated, with even the shop signs custom-designed to create a uniform look. Inside, it was all glitz and glamour. This was definitely not the Medicine Street vie. It felt more like wandering into an upscale shopping district. "What do you want?" the clerk grunted, barely glancing up, thumbs flying as he played a phone game. Behind the counter, a brown medicine cabinet stood, a mosaic of tiny, individually labeled drawers.
Stella's eyes lingered on it for a moment before she spoke, her voice flat, "Just here for some medicines." The clerk didn't even bother to respond. Just then, Landen came in a beat later and slammed his hand down on the counter. "Didn't you hear her? Get some medicines." The clerk jumped, his hand jerking, and the game screen went dark. He'd just been killed by a mage's spell. The clerk gaped, speechless. 'This is utter disgrace!' He snapped his head up, eyes blazing. "What the hell?" But before he could finish, his eyes landed on Stella's icy face.
She just stood there, giving him a cold glance, and it felt like someone had dumped a bucket of ice water over his head in the middle of winter. And she was holding the hand of a five-year-old boy. The kid looked absolutely adorable, but his face was set in stone, cold and expressionless, like a little ice statue. The clerk gulped. "Which medicine do you want?" Stella shot a lazy glance at the medicine cabinet behind him and rattled off a few names without much thought. The clerk muttered under his breath and turned around, searching the drawers with obvious effort to match the names.
He finally managed to find the first one, but immediately forgot the rest. "Wait, what did you say you needed again?" the clerk asked. Landen was about to lose it, but Stella just reached out and calmly stopped him. So, he just took a deep breath. Stella replied, "Licorice Root." The clerk searched through the drawers for ages, looking for it. Lucas didn't even glance up, his voice cold as ice. "Third row, second from the left." The clerk was stunned. He followed Lucas's directions and found it. The clerk grinned.
"Hey, you're pretty sharp, kid." Lucas looked up with an evil grin, and to Landen, it was like Sebastian's spirit had taken over. The next second, Lucas just said, "It's just my allergy to stupidity acting up." Landen and the clerk were just lost for words. After all that hassle, they finally got their hands on all the medicines. The clerk gritted his teeth. "That'll be 542 bucks." "How much did you just say?" Landen blurted out, eyes wide. He was shocked. 'Over 500 bucks for all of that. At Herbal Have this would go for barely over 60 bucks.

The clerk sneered, "That's the price on Medicine Street. If you want cheap stuff, go next door to Herbal Haven. Their things 1/3 12:03 Wed, Feb 11 GOO Chapter 364 are all mass-produced. Take them for a month, and you still wont get the same results as a week with ours." 'This brat, talking smack. You're the one selling mass-produced junk. Landen fumed. 12% 55 vouchers Just as Landen was about to roll up his sleeves and throw down, tella shoved an already opened packet into his hands. Seeing Stella so calm and steady, Landen's temper vanished just like that. He gave it a sniff and paused.
"Swipe the card," Lucas said, standing on tiptoe and handing over a black card, his face totally blank and his voice still soft and childish. His little arms barely reached the counter. The clerk swiped the card in a daze, handed it back to Lucas, and watched as the kid stuffed the card into his little shark bag. Honestly, it all felt surreal, like something out of a fantasy novel. Stella looked down. Just moments ago, Lucas had been a little devil to the clerk, but now, facing Stella, he was back to being a little angel. His eyes sparkled, and Lucas clutched his necklace with his tiny hand.
"Gift for you," he mumbled. Seriously, he was just too cute for words. "Let's head to the next shop," Stella said, giving Lucas's cheek a gentle squeeze before leading him out. Landen called out, "So, uh, what do I do with the medicines?" Stella didn't even look back. "Just take them." Landen just lost for words. He scurried after them. ***** The next few shops were no different. Stella grabbed a few more medicines and headed out. Landen's hands were getting fuller and fuller with packets, and his face was growing more serious by the minute.
Lost in thought, he followed Stella to the last shop. When he looked up, he saw the Fortune House. Inside, things were already getting rowdy. A fierce argument was raging. Someone said, "Don't try to deny it. You swapped out my medicines. The proof's right here, and you're still pretending nothing happened." Stella walked in just in time to catch that. "Do you have any idea who's behind the Fortune House? That's the Traditional Medicine Association. Why do you think we'd mess with your medicines? Get outta here!" The clerk, acting all ocky, snorted.
The old man's hands were shaking like a leaf, too mad to even speak. His medicines landed right at Stella's feet. She glanced down and calmly named every kind of medicine. Landen's jaw dropped. Even he had to pick up medicine and give it a good squeeze to figure it out, but Stella just took one look and nailed every single one. Stella turned to the old man, who looked like he was about to cry and said, "What happened?" The old man was crying as he spoke, "I went up the mountains and dug up some medicines myself, all wild, every last one. They swapped out my medicines and won't admit it.
I had to fight just to get some of them back. "I was worried something might go wrong, so I took videos and photos. I swear I'm not a liar, miss." His voice shook. He knew that Stella couldn't do anything for him, but he still pulled out his phone and showed her. Stella glanced over. That was definitely a hundred-year-old wildalerian root, for sure. 2/3 12:03 Wed, Feb 11 G 0. Chapter 364 Landen frowned, instantly catching on. "Hand over the old man medicines, now!" 55 vouchers "None of your damn business.
Get lost before I kick you out myself!" The clerk swaggered out from behind the counter, and security came marching in from the back. Landen barked, "You guys are unreasonable." "Security, toss them out!" the clerk sneered, smirking like a punk With the tension about to blow, Landen rolled up his sleeves, rearly to rumble. He started shadowboxing in place, throwing lefts and rights, yelling, "You. Come at me!" But his feet stayed planted, not moving an inch. The guard was stunned. Lucas finally couldn't stand it anymore and gave Landen's leg a poke.
Landen turned his head, and there was Stella, grabbing him by the back of the neck. Landen just lost for words. Stella gave him a look. Her brow raised just a little. "You sure you're going up there to win, not just get wrecked?" Her words left Landen totally speechless. She glanced at the security guards then pulled out her phone and called Creed. Creed picked up right away. Stella nudged Landen and the old man out of the way, then hoisted Lucas up onto the counter. Lucas covered his eyes, cute as ever.
"Get the board members from the Traditional Medicine Association to haul their asses over to this address right now." Stella snapped. Stella fired off the location with one hand. Then, she lazily lifted her eyes, her whole rebellious energy on full display. She smiled. "Ready?" The clerk and guard were totally stunned. 3/3 AD Comment Send gift No Ads Editorial Board Editorial Board Our editorial team works behind the scenes to refine each chapter, maintain consistency, and deliver the best reading experience.
