Chapter 395 84 E55 vouchers Soleil sneered, thinking, 'Let's see what kind of high-level invitation Stella's got up her sleeve to slap me in the face.' Suddenly, the scanner let out a unique chime. Starting at the main entrance, the sound swept through the first floor of the International Convention Center like a tidal wave, then the second floor, the third, until it echoed through the whole building. Everyone instinctively looked up, thinking the system had glitched. Even the security guards peeked out in confusion; this had never happened before.
The foreign guests who'd just been watching for fun were now totally floored. With a loud bang, every single door and barrier swung open by itself. Everyone was stunned into silence. "No way," Soleil said. Before she could even process what was happening, a crowd of top executives from the International Convention Center burst out, panting and drenched in sweat; they must've dashed down the stairs. "Who is it? Whose invitation is this?" the main executive, Gary White, shouted. Gary, too busy to wipe the sweat from his brow, searched frantically.
Unlike the Herbal Medicine Guild, he was all about serving Tongalia's tycoons and elites. He barely gave the Herbal Medicine Guild's leaders the time of day. This special invitation had been personally issued by the tycoons themselves. They'd gone to great lengths to finally get in touch with Cain, the leader of the Dorestan Medical Alliance. This was the highest-level invitation. After all, everyone got sick. Compared to their own Herbal Medicine Guild, these savvy folks put way more faith in the Dorestan Medical Alliance. A fair hand casually raised. Soleil couldn't say a word.
Her expression froze. Stella shot her a look, raising an eyebrow, pure provocation in Soleil's eyes. "Miss, it's an honor to serve you. Where would you like to go now?" Gary said. He didn't even glance at anyone else. He rushed over, practically groveling beside Stella. But when he caught sight of Sebastian, he blurted out, "Mr. Gray?" He couldn't help but exclaim again. 10:40 Thu, Feb 12 Chapter 395 84 55 vouchers That was the guy who was on par with the tycoons, the one who could make even the big shots lower their heads.
Just what the heck is happening right now?' Gary wondered, completely baffled. "I don't want to go anywhere," Stella said coolly. "After all, your security said our invitation was no good, so we weren't allowed in." Gary was speechless. His mind was full of question marks. He whipped his head around to the panicked security guard, who stammered, "Ms. Wilkerson told me to do it." 'Ms. Wilkerson?' Gary thought. He froze for a second, his expression stiffening. After all, she was Quinto's daughter; he had to give her some face. Gary said, "Miss, this must be a misunderstanding.
I'll fire that security guard right now to make things right for you." Stella raised an eyebrow, asking, "Make things right for me?" A single look from Stella chilled Gary. He said, "I misspoke. Our security staff didn't show the Clusia delegation the respect they deserved. That was our mistake. As the head of the International Convention Center, I give you my sincerest apologies." As he spoke, Gary led all the other top brass in a deep bow to the entire Clusia delegation, a full 90 degrees. The Clusia delegation, who'd been fuming after being shut out, was left speechless.

They hadn't even wrapped their heads around what had just happened. "I'll personally escort you inside," Gary said as he straightened up. He smiled warmly. Landen leaned in and asked quietly, "Dr. Miracle, shall we go in?" After all that drama, the delegation members were walking tall, faces flushed with pride; there wasn't a hint left of the embarrassment from being shut out earlier. Stella said, "Hold on." She lazily lifted her gaze to Soleil, a half-smirk on her face. She said, "Ms.
Wilkerson, since you were so eager to toss my invitation in the trash, why don't you fish it out for me now, exactly the way you threw it in?" Soleil flushed with anger. She said, "You!" "Ms. Wilkerson," Gary said, cutting her off, his face turning cold. "Pick it up." Soleil stared in shock, totally incredulous. She asked, "What did you just say?" 10:40 Thu, Feb 12 Chapter 395 She thought, 'Is this guy for real? : 'My dad runs the Herbal Medicine Guild. Who does he think he is, talking to me like that?' 84 55 vouchers "If you won't do it, Ms. Wilkerson, I'll just call Mr.
Wilkerson and have him come pick it up himself," Gary said impatiently. He was just being polite; he wasn't her lackey. Honestly, even if Quinto showed up, he'd still have to be polite. Soleil bit down on her lip, not a trace of her earlier arrogance left. The Clusia delegation looked on, feeling totally vindicated. "Fine. I'll pick it up," Soleil said, her voice trembling with rage. She knew exactly who she was dealing with. Even though she was clenching her jaw so hard it hurt, she still had to bow her head. Her eyes were red with frustration.
Step by step, she went to the trash can where she'd tossed the Clusia delegation's invitation. The more cocky she'd been before, the more humiliating it was now. Gritting her teeth with every step, she squeezed her eyes shut and dug the invitation out. A pampered princess like her had never done anything like this before. She almost threw up right then and there. "Here. Take it," Soleil said. Her hand was shaking with rage as she shoved the invitation to Stella. But Stella just looked away, totally uninterested. She said, "It's filthy. Toss it." Her words were loaded with meaning.
Soleil was stunned. She thought, 'She's doing this on purpose. 'She's humiliating me in front of everyone. 'She made me pick it up, and now she wanted me to throw it away again?' Soleil crushed the paper invitation in her fist, her glare practically bored a hole through Stella. She looked like she wanted to tear her apart. But of course, she'd conveniently forgotten that she was the one who started this whole mess. "Take us inside," Stella finally said, her voice icy and indifferent. Gary smiled and motioned ahead.
He said, "This way, please." With him leading the way, the group strode forward without hesitation, completely ignoring Soleil as they passed. They acted as if she didn't even exist. 10:40 Thu, Feb 12 Chapter 395 Z(84) 55 vouchers Soleil flung the invitation to the ground, her humiliation finally getting the best of her as tears spilled down her cheeks. Everywhere the Clusia delegation went, heads turned; they were impossible to ignore. When they finally reached their assigned seats, Gary suddenly frowned. 'Is the Wilkerson really that petty?' he thought.
Normally, seating arrangements followed international protocol, either alphabetical order or by region. Putting Tongalia in the top spot could be chalked up to them being the host country, but something was wrong. He thought, 'But seriously, did they have to shove Clusia all the way into some back corner? 'Unless they were just trying to mess with them on purpose, what other explanation is there?' "Quinto's always scheming," Sebastian said, his tone icy. Over at the sponsor's table, Allan and Morgan were watching the scene unfold, their faces unreadable and cold. Gary was speechless.
"Looks like there's been a mix-up. Let me get someone to check that again," he said, giving his staff a quick signal. They caught on instantly, moved the placard for the country in the second spot, and replaced it with Clusia's. Even so, since Tongalia was the host, they still got to be ranked ahead of Clusia. "Is this okay now?" Gary asked, trying to sound polite. He smiled, proud to represent Tongalia. But Stella just lazily lifted her hand and made a call. The person on the other end picked up almost instantly. "Cedar, bring your team over," Stella said, her tone cool and commanding.
