We sat there in the waiting room, each of us lost in our own thoughts, for what felt like hours. The medical team arrived about an hour ago and was in the room with Judy and Eliza. Conversation flowed around me, though I barely paid attention to anything being said. It was mainly the group trying to distract itself with mindless conversation, but I was too numb to participate or listen. I did hear some parts of the conversation, though.
