Chapter 833 Judy's POV I woke up to the smell of coffee brewing in the kitchen downstairs. I glanced at the time on the nightstand and saw that it was early; much too early for the staff to arrive and start cooking breakfast. Telling from the fact that Gavin wasn't in bed beside me, I knew it had to be him in the kitchen. For a second, I just lay there, staring at the ceiling and thinking about my conversation with Gavin a couple of nights ago. We were planning on hunting down Coraline Blackwell tonight, now that it was Saturday, and Gavin promised me we would go this morning.
Thankfully, last night was a dreamless sleep. Then again, I didn't sleep deeply enough. I knew neither Gavin nor I slept that well last night. I could feel him all night... I could feel him right now. He was worried. He was always worried lately. I let out a breath and pushed the blankets off, forcing myself out of bed. The smell of bacon and coffee drifted down the hallway, making my mouth water and my stomach grumble. Both the baby and I were ravenous this morning. I didn't make it far before I was nearly run over by Matt, who was quickly leaving his room.
He froze and looked up at me, his eyes wide. "Sorry," he murmured. "I really have to go to the bathroom." He was doing a funny little dance like he was really holding in his bladder. I smiled down at him, forgetting that he's still a little boy, despite how much he's matured since I first met him. I rubbed his head, ruffling his hair. "Go on now," I told him. I didn't have to tell him twice; he jumped around me and ran straight down the hall and towards the nearest bathroom. I couldn't help the laugh that bubbled out of me as I shook my head.

Irene had already agreed to watch Matt this weekend while Gavin and I go on our road trip. I was thankful she was here to help, even if she wasn't fully mentally here. I knew she was pretending to be okay because she didn't want to worry anyone. After she spent a week in her room, avoiding everybody, she started to make more appearances. She spent the last couple of days with Nan and me, helping me with my wedding preparations. I think it's been a good distraction for her, and planning this event was something she truly loved.
I was happy to have her there to help, and her eye for detail was perfect. Irene even joined us for dinner last night, which was a pleasant surprise. Though I could still see the dark circle's beneath her eyes indicating her lac sleep and sometimes I see tears glisten in her bloodshot eyes, showing me that she still cries when she doesn't think others are watching. She was in so much pain, and I was so determined to make sure she never had to feel that kind of pain again.
The source of this content ɪs find~novel~net Erik had been staying away from her these last few days because he knew that bis presence would only make things worse and push her further away. I told him that I'll fix this and figure out a way to break the hold Chuck has on her. He's been impatiently texting me these last couple of days, wondering about my progress, and I keep telling him to give me more time. When I reached the kitchen, I paused at the entryway for a moment to admire what I was seeing in front of me.
Gavin stood by the stove in a fitted black shirt, flipping eggs like someone who hadn't been awake for most of the night is hair was still damp from a shower and he looked unfairly good. My mate was certainly the hottest man in this entire world, and my heart skipped a beat at the sight of him. I swear I fall a little bit more in love with him every time I see him. Sensing my presence, Gavin turned to look at me, his lips turning into a smirk when he noticed me checking him out. I wasn't sorry about it; he was going to be my husband after all. Husband.
I still couldn't seem to get over that; I was going to be Gavin's wife... his Luna. My heart swelled even more at the thought, and I felt heat creeping up my cheeks. "Good morning," he said, his voice deep and sending a warmth throughout my entire body. "Morning," I replied, my voice sounding breathy. He held out an arm for me, beckoning me to him, and I went like I was a bug drawn to the light. He wrapped his arm around me, pulling me against his hard body, and I molded against him like I was meant to be there and was created to fit him as perfectly as I did.
