---- Chapter 207 Of course, naturally, | never envisioned marrying a man who possessed ambitions of going against the actual Alpha King. Maybe, | should begin looking into some current political systems when | have a chance. While | finished reading through the bullshit statement, Oliver lightly cleared his throat and began to slide into the new topic of conversation that needed to be addressed. "Sir, are you and Evelyn truly having a second wedding?" he asked. "Yes," Alexander responded. My heart skipped a beat.
| hadn't anticipated being overwhelmed by the sudden nostalgic feeling of once being excited about my wedding day. | knew it came off as a bit immature, given all that's gone on, | supposed. But, there was no stopping the jittery excitement that fluttered through me. | felt like a young girl again, happily fantasizing about her wedding day. This time, | was determined to make it perfect for Alexander and myself. "Well, sir. That being said, are you looking to still take the traditional route?

If so, we will need to have something written ---- out to the press as an announcement," Oliver stated | bit the inside of my cheek, wondering what the rest of the outside world was going to think when word got out about us marrying each other again. Would they all think we're crazy too? Alexander lifted his head up from his own pile of papers to shoot me a glance. "Why not?" he suggested. "Maybe it will give everyone a good distraction from the case and they'll stop pushing for an interview," | said. A slow smile took over his face.
He gestured to Oliver to begin typing something up to send out. "Let me know what you come up with first and I'll add to it," he told him. "There are a few things | want to make a part of the announcement." | was truly glad that Nina and Wendy were on board with the idea. It was certainly going to make some of the more major decisions a lot easier to deal with when there were others around, willing to help. "Have you two talked about when you're looking to have the ceremony?" Oliver asked.
---- "Well, Alexander mentioned before about the idea of possibly having the wedding outside in the gardens," I noted. "I think it's a wonderful idea and I'm all on board with it. But that being said, | think the best time for that to happen would be sometime in the late Spring to early Summer. By that point, a majority of the flowers and plants will be in full bloom." "Sounds beautiful," Alexander hummed in agreement.
"Oliver, | would just have it mentioned that we're thinking either late Spring or early Summer then." Oliver nodded his head and went off to begin writing out the newest statement. | was glad we were able to move on to something far more enjoyable. Unfortunately, the only thing that was actively stopping my excitement was the thought of Caroline. | knew for a fact that she had already seen the articles and the tabloids, regarding Michael's situation.
For the last few days, I'd been eagerly waiting for something to come from her standpoint-hell, at the very least, | was shocked that she hadn't tried barging into the manor as of yet. | kept trying to tell myself that maybe it was a good thing. Perhaps, Caroline took this as a warning to not test the waters ---- any further. She must have already known that where Michael was concerned she wasn't that far off Alexander's radar. If she's smart, she'll keep to herself. Otherwise, Alexander will ensure that she ends up sharing a prison cell with her son.
