A monstrous laugh sounded from the other side, and Dracomir thought he saw eyes staring at him through the torn opening. Every hair on his body stood on end. This was black sorcery, worse than Victoria's reanimated dead or Frederick's tricks.

"Don't underestimate Laziel just because he looks younger, and relax, that traitor's days are numbered," his vampire father-in-law assured him. Draco's astonished gaze slid to the boy like a lazy cat rising from a ledge "I'll try to bring him back alive so you can take your revenge, or whatever it is you're going to do," he said calmly, looking at Dracomir with golden, icy eyes. Draco realized he couldn't underestimate anyone in this family.

---- "Then I'll leave it in your hands," he answered seriously, trying to save alittle face "Good. Grandfather, I'm off," Laziel announced, snapping his fingers in the air. His body dissipated into thousands of black sparks, like tiny shadow dragonflies flying out the window. Sweat was still running down Dracomir's back when he stepped closer to inspect his favorite chair. Just like that, destroyed by that male without him even moving from his spot.

"I'm not going to ask what that was," Draco snorted a bit gruffly, going to pour himself a stiff drink. "Don't be impressed; it's better to be a lycan," Aldric immediately defended their kind. "Luckily this time we didn't get stuck with another little sorcerer, ora vampire... no offense, Prince," he added quickly at Zarek's raised brow.

"All right, let's continue with the division, and account for my two sons, who will surely want to join..." Dracomir listened in silence, amid jokes and a lot of ---- testosterone. He even looked on with pity as they downed his best whiskies, but oh well; it was like when your big family came to visit and you still ran short. Family... something he hadn't had since his parents died. Feelings he thought he'd had for Frederick and those two harpies ... pure fantasies spun from lies and magic.
