you.

Trevor looked at her. After a second of silence, he withdrew his

gaze and nodded. “Alright, but you'll have to wait until | finish

dealing with what | have on hand.”

"Okay."

Trevor continued working, while Wynn sat by the coffee table,

sipping tea as she waited.

Watching his side profile as he focused on his work, and

recalling the look on his face earlier—how he'd wanted to refuse

her invitation but ultimately agreed with a hint of resignation—

she was certain that he still had feelings for her.

Otherwise, he wouldn't have compromised.

After Trevor finished handling his work, they left the office

together to have lunch.

During the meal, Wynn brought up the situation at InnovaTech

and her family's tech company. She even talked about some

amusing things from when she'd taken Jordyn out a couple of

days earlier.

The only thing she didn't ask was how Trevor now viewed the

situation between the two of them.

She didn't bring it up, and neither did he.

This only further convinced Wynn that even if Trevor had

developed feelings for Celeste, he still couldn't let go of her.

However, although Trevor didn't mention breaking up, after

lunch, he still found an excuse to leave.

After he left, Wynn returned to her company as well.

Trevor heard her out and nodded silently. He didn't seem upset
