The next day, just as Wynn was thinking of finding a chance to

contact Trevor to ask whether he had time to come over and

have lunch with them, Jordyn's phone buzzed.

“It's a message from Dad," Jordyn said.

he still has things to deal with, so he won't be coming over to

have a meal with us.”
