Chapter 4 Chapter 4 Nadia didn't remember how she got home. The second she opened her eyes, Kael was pulling her close. "Nadia, I'm sorry. Those photos got leaked by mistake. It was a mistake." She shoved him off, her face blank. "Kael, your little 'mistake' killed my mom." Something flickered in his eyes when he saw the hate in hers. For a second, it almost looked like guilt. He grabbed her hand. "Nadia, don't worry. I'll make sure Levi and your mom get a proper burial." Next day, Nadia wanted to say goodbye one last time. She came downstairs and saw Vivian feeding her dog.
When she got closer, what she saw made her blood run cold. Her voice shook. "What are you feeding it?" Vivian pointed at two small white jars sitting on the table, smiling. "Kael said my dog needed more calcium. So he had some bones crushed up for me." Nadia's eyes locked onto those two white urns. She almost lost it. She lunged forward, hand raised to slap her. "You killed them both, and now you won't even leave their ashes alone?" Before her hand could land, someone shoved her hard. She slammed into the coffee table. Pain shot through her side. Her eyes burned red.

Kael stood there, staring down at her. "Nadia, I've been patient because your mom and Levi just died. But what the hell are you doing? Trying to hit Vivian? You've crossed the line." Nadia pointed a shaking finger at the urns on the table, glaring at him. "Kael, look at me. Tell me what's really in those jars." Vivian pressed herself against Kael's chest, looking all innocent. "Kael, I was just feeding my dog in the living room. I don't know why Nadia suddenly went crazy and tried to hit me." Kael held her tighter, his eyes ice cold when they landed on Nadia.
"Vivian didn't know it was their ashes. But that doesn't change what you did. Apologize to her. Now." Nadia clenched her fists, staring at him with nothing but despair. "I'm not apologizing." 13-20 My Last Gift To My Ex: A Bomb 11.5% Chapter 4 Kael's face went dark. He gestured behind him, his tone flat and final Since my wife refuses to admit she's wrong, have her kneel outside. She doesn't get up until she does." Two guards stepped forward and grabbed her by the arms Nadia stared at him like she didn't even recognize him anymore.
"Kael you're making me kneel and apologize to the person who killed our son and my mom?" But he didn't even look at her. He turned and walked upstairs with Vivian. "I got your dog a new toy. Let's go check it out." Nadia watched him disappear, something inside her finally breaking for good. The guards dragged her outside. When she wouldn't kneel, one of them kicked the back of her knees. She hit the ground hard. The early winter wind cut through her like knives. But she kept her back straight, kneeling from morning until night. When it got dark, the door finally opened.
Vivian came out arm-in-arm with Kael. She was holding her little dog, smiling down at Nadia. "Nadia, since you're so good with bombs, you must know how to handle fireworks too, right? Today's my dog's birthday. I talked Kael into giving you a chance. If you help set off fireworks for the party, I'll let this whole thing go." Kael stood next to her, looking down at Nadia like she was dirt. "Vivian's being generous. If you agree to do the fireworks, we'll drop it." Nadia slowly lifted her head, staring at him in disbelief. "Levi and my mom just died. And you want me to set off fireworks....
