Chapter 185 The Shocking Julia Dale glared at Sherry like he wanted to kill her. He never knew Sherry could be this cold-hearted. No wonder the whole family couldn't stand her. She had zero sense of decency! "I said you apologize-not him. Why are you yelling at me? What, you won't apologize for him? Just say it already-you gonna apologize for him? The brother you claim to love so much? He stuck up for you, y'know." Since when is she so quick-witted? She flipped the question right back at me. If I say no, Dale's totally gonna be let down.

Yeah, the Campbell family had been nice to her again lately, but nobody stuck by her like Dale did! Teresa stood there, all antsy and fidgety. Then a pretty, smooth voice spoke up. "What's going on here?" A drop-dead gorgeous woman walked in, and everyone froze, shocked. Some rich brats blurted out, "Whoa, when did a hottie like this show up in King City?" Big boobs, tiny waist, long legs. If Sherry was the kind of girl everyone felt bad for, Julia was straight-up temptation. Throw in that angel face of hers, and she had both the innocence and the body they wanted. That's a total smoke show.

At least for guys. Girls? Most of them sized her up right off the bat. But everyone here was top-tier. They didn't just care about looks. Looks alone meant jack-you'd just end up as some guy's toy. Julia walked in, her eyes locking onto their corner. 1/3 Her hair flowed when she moved, carrying a light scent that pulled everyone's eyes to her. But Julia knew exactly who she was after. She spoke like they were old pals. "Mr. Harrison, we meet again." She smiled softly, her eyes shining like stars. Hard to say no to that.

A gentleman would never turn down a smile, anyway-and there were tons of people watching. But most people couldn't figure out Julia's little game. "Ms. Mack, still as sharp as ever," Lucas said. His words confirmed what all the sharp folks here were thinking. All of a sudden, everyone knew Julia wasn't some regular chick. "Hmph-another gold digger who snuck in with a ticket," one woman snapped, jealous. Obviously they were rivals. That woman was all dolled up, but she still couldn't hold a candle to Julia-smooth skin, pretty face, in a red dress. Seemed like Julia loved wearing red.

And honestly, that red dress made her look brighter. She outshone every other girl in red here. Like, the only wild rose blooming at the whole party. That alone was enough to make people green with envy. Teresa was already in a crummy mood, and now Julia butted in. To make it worse, she'd thought she'd be the only new face-everyone would crowd around her and give her all the attention. But Sherry was here, wearing an expensive dress. Now there was an even prettier girl, making her look nothing but dumb and invisible. But when she heard Lucas's words, she felt a little better.

So Lucas wasn't targeting her because of Sherry. He acted like this with everybody. See? Even if you're this pretty, it doesn't work on him. 2/3 She tried sucking up-and totally bombed. Too funny. Teresa looked at Julia, mocking her. Finally, she wasn't the only one making a fool of herself here. Julia didn't even flinch at Lucas's words. Her smile didn't fade one bit. She lifted her eyes and glanced over, calm as could be. "Looks like you're still mad at me about what happened before, Mr. Harrison.

"I get For a woman these days, if you don't have a man backing you up, people are gonna think you're up to something. "But this time, I ain't just here for myself. I'm here as a representative of Chinian-and as a director of Angel Shop's headquarters." That sentence blew everyone's minds. "A representative of Chinian? And a director of Angel Shop? Are you the one-the founder of Angel Shop? I heard the founder's obsessed with red! They make the best red dresses! "The dress you're wearing-that's the first dress Angel Shop ever made!

The one that stands for the whole brand!" That person was a die-hard fan of Angel Shop. They were stuttering while talking. 3/3 admin
