Chapter 9 Chapter 9 +25 Bonus Logan stood in my doorway staring at me, like he had never seen me before. I don't know what he expected. He sent me the dress. But it still took him a few moments to gather his composure. "We have to go." Logan said. (1 "Are you going to tell me where we're going?" I asked. "An Alpha ball." He said. "And you're taking me." I'm glad to hear it." He said. The rest of the ride was pretty much silent. We didn't have much to say to each other. Especially not after 1/2 2 Chapter 9 +25 Bonus Penelope showed up at the trailer. And Alpha Logan told her that she better have herself put together by the time he got back. I couldn't help but wonder how much pain I was going to be in for tonight after I got home.

I enjoyed the scenery on the way to the pack that we were going to. I hadn't been out of the pack territory in years. Not since I was about 10, at least. It was a really long time. And It felt good to be out and about again. Even if Alpha Logan was going to keep me on a tight leash tonight. I was nervous about going to this party with Alpha Logan. He had a reputation. And it wasn't a good one. He ruled with an iron fist and everyone knew that. He wasn't an Alpha to mess with. He had a fairly large pack and a very loyal guard.

So I could only imagine what people were going to be thinking of me tonight when I showed up there with him as his mate. When we finally arrived at the pack, someone opened the door for us and Alpha Logan got out first and then he held his hand out and I took it and he helped me out of the limousine. Straight away, I noticed people looking at us. And I started getting nervous. But I took a couple of deep breaths and calmed myself down and we walked up the stairs of the packhouse and we were shown into the ballroom where we met the hosts. "Alpha Logan. We are so glad that you could make it.

And who is this beauty?" The Alpha asked. "This is my mate Morgan. Morgan, this is Alpha Roman and Luna Rose of the Dark Moon Pack." Alpha Logan introduced us. "Hi. It's nice to meet you." I said. "It's nice to finally meet the woman that has made this man settle down." Alpha Roman said. And I just side eyed Alpha Logan before faking a smile back at Alpha Roman. "Come, Morgan. We have mingling to do." Alpha Logan said, putting his hand on my lower back and he guided me into the ballroom. The whole room looked extravagant.
