Chapter 15 I had barely been home for an hour when I heard the front door open and close. I thought mom might have come home for some reason, but when I turned to look at the front door Alpha Logan was standing there. "You know, it doesn't look too good when you threaten my staff. Especially not when I can hear you." He said. "Oops." I said, sarcastically. "I was with Penelope's uncle." He said. "Right. The Alpha that you're trying to get into bed with." I said, standing up. "Why did you need to see me?" He asked.

"Because that very expensive dress that you bought and I said I would return, it's gone. Someone stole it." I said. "That's what you came to tell me?" He asked. "Yeah. It was expensive and I wanted to tell you that it's gone. I was going to return it but I can't. Sorry." I said. "I told you that you could keep the dress." He said. "I didn't want it. I was going to return it. Penelope probably took it for all I know. She saw me wearing it yesterday and she did break in last night." I said. "Penelope didn't take it. Beta Levi did.

He's getting it dry cleaned right now and he will bring it back to you afternoon." Alpha Logan asked. "Why? I don't want it. It doesn't belong here." I said. this "Because I bought it for you. Besides, I am meant to be here punishing you. Penelope demanded it in front of her Alpha uncle. She didn't like the way you spoke to my housekeeper." He said. "Well, maybe I'm sick of being spoken to like shit." I said. "Why aren't you at school?" He asked. "I've got enough credits to finish. So, I'm done with school. I start working at the factory tomorrow for chump change." I said.

"The factory manager didn't call to clear that with me." He said. "He probably doesn't think that you'll care." I said. "Maybe. Why are you working there?" He asked. "Because we need the money. In case you haven't noticed." I said, waving my arm around at the crappy trailer and furniture that we had inside the trailer. He looked around briefly before nodding his head. "If anyone asks, you're on probation." He said, turning and leaving the trailer. I sat there staring at the door after he left. I wasn't really sure about what the hell was going on. Why wouldn't he punish me?

He's punished people for a lot less. Did he really just come here to see me? Last night he slapped me across the face for just talking to some other guys, and now he's not pissed at all after I threatened his housekeeper in front of his girlfriend and her Alpha uncle who he is trying to get close to. 1/2 Chapter 15 +25 Bonus None of this was making any sense to me. He was cold one minute and then it looked like he was warming up to me the next. I didn't know what to make of him. I stayed home for the rest of the day and I tried to get to bed as early as possible.

I had to be up really early the next morning. 4am. So I got up and got dressed into the warmest clothes I owned, which weren't very warm at all. And then I left the house while mom was still asleep and I was really surprised at. I left the house before her today. She works so much that it's weird to see her in bed sleeping while I'm getting ready for work and leaving. When I got to the warehouse the manager showed me around everywhere and when the first truck arrived it started unloading dozens of pallets on the dock and we had to take them inside.

There were smaller pallets with business names on them and we had a list of where all of this stuff was meant to be going to. So basically, we were transferring stock from large pallets, to smaller ones and loading them into smaller trucks to get delivered around the pack. My manager Jack came out to check on me several times that day to make sure that everything was going alright and I said that everything was fine. "I know that this job can get a little confusing. Trying to figure out what pallets to put the stock on to." Jack said, putting his hands on my shoulders.
