But now, she realized the pregnancy could work to her advantage. She decided to tell Olivia about the pregnancy. Even if Olivia didn't like her, she had no choice but to accept the child. What was more important, though, was that she would use the pregnancy to threaten the Silvermoon Pack. Everyone knew the consequences once this news came to light.

The Alpha King had once issued a decree that any Alpha or Luna who had an unmarried child would lose their title and be cast out of the pack. Reluctantly, Olivia had to agree, though her expression was far from friendly. But Chloe still believed that once she entered Ryan's home, he would accept her. ---- When Ryan found out the full extent of the situation, he was enraged and slammed his phone to the floor. She didn't want to argue further. This was his mess, and he had to clean it up. Olivia sent Chloe straight to Ryan's house. Chloe stood frozen when she saw Ryan. His face remained expressionless. But now, every word she spoke felt fake to him. He roughly pulled his hand away. "T don't want to be with you. Stay as far away from me as possible." Chloe stared at him in disbelief, not understanding why Ryan had changed so drastically. Tears rolled down her cheeks as she gently placed her hand on her stomach. "Ryan, you may not love me, but our child..." Ryan turned his back on her, unwilling to look her in the eye.

When he heard her mention the child, he only coldly responded, ''Forget the child. I don't want it." Chloe's eyes widened as she stared at his retreating figure, feeling more alienated than ever. "What did you say?" ---- Ryan knew better than anyone that the child was just another one of Chloe's bargaining chips. Had she ever really intended to keep the child? It made everything feel hollow. He instructed the maid to rearrange the room as it had been before and bring in some new items. Only when everything was neatly placed did he feel that Tessa hadn't really left. When Ryan opened his eyes again, he found Chloe lying next to him. For a moment, he thought it was Tessa who had returned. He immediately jumped out of bed, startling Chloe awake. "Ryan, what's wrong?" she asked, confused. Ryan froze, his face turning dark. ---- "Who let you in my bed?" Chloe smiled softly, thinking Ryan was just shy. "It's not the first time. What's the big deal?

It's been so many days. Don't you want me to keep you company?" Her tone was the same as always, but Ryan looked at her with disdain. "This is my and Tessa's room. Get out!" The words hit Chloe like a slap. She quickly changed her tone. "Tessa? She's been gone so long, and you're still thinking about her?" "'She's doing this on purpose, not wanting to see you anymore!" Ryan's anger snapped. Like a beast, he grabbed Chloe, kicked her out of the room, and when she stumbled and fell to the floor, he didn't care. No matter how she cried, Ryan locked her outside, refusing to let her back in.

Sitting on the ground, Chloe's heart raced, and she instinctively touched her stomach. ---- Thankfully, the baby was fine. Her gaze hardened as she looked around. If he liked her so much, she would destroy everything he cared about with her own hands.
