I still couldn't believe it-I was the Queen of all werewolves. As we stepped into the palace, applause and congratulations echoed throughout the halls, celebrating the King for finally finding his mate. But not everyone was pleased. Some of the she-wolves shot us icy glares, and I overheard one hiss, "Who is this black bitch with the King?" Before I could even react, Julian's hand was gripping her throat.

His eyes flashed golden, Rig-the wolf within him- taking control. "How dare you disrespect your Queen like that! I'll snap your filthy neck, skank!" Rig was moments away from unleashing fury. ---- I placed my hand gently on Julian's back, and instantly, he regained control, his ocean-blue eyes meeting mine-the eyes I had fallen in love with. I gave a slight bow, addressing them respectfully as "Your Highness." "Nonsense," she said with a smile.

"Call us Isadora and Lucian-or Mom and Dad. We're family now!" "Come, let's head to the office and finalize the details for your coronation," Isadora said, her voice bright with excitement. She went on about the stunning white gown I would wear and how Alpha families from across the realms would come to witness the crowning of the new Queen. Nerves and excitement swirled inside me.
