" The way he called me his girlfriend did something to me . I didn't even have to dwell on how he had been playing with my feelings all day when I had already figured out that he was done with his games .

He had only been building suspense . The manager smiled at me instantly . " It's a pleasure to meet you . " He then looked back at Maddox . " How can we help you today ? " That was the moment I'd been waiting for . Maddox was going to tell me to choose whichever car I liked . I could already feel the shock , the joy and the disbelief . " I hoped that he would be able to tell how mad I was , but he didn't seem to care . He just insisted that I go with him . In the end , he held my hand and gently pulled me out of the limousine . I wanted to pull it away , but he held on firmly and led the way .

The order of things didn't make sense to me as we were already approaching the large front door , making me furrow my eyebrows. " Shouldn't you first get the spare parts out of the trunk ? " I asked . " Someone will handle that , " he casually said without looking at me . Then , he opened the door and brought me inside . I couldn't see anything as it was pitch black .
