Samantha looked up to see that Leonardo had already entered a Rolls Royce. The car door was ajar, and Simon stood beside it, desperately signaling to Samantha with his hands, his expression a mix of urgency and calm. Yet, Simon could sense a simmering tension within him. At that moment, the only thing everyone could do was to comply and not defy Smartha, who was apologetically addressing the man who had just asked for her contact information.

Without hesitation, she quickly climbed into the car. The door slowly closed behind her. Simon shot the man a warning glance before sliding into the front passenger seat. They then drove away from Evergreen TT. The man who had requested Samantha’s number stood there in shock, watching as the Rolls Royce vanished into the distance. It took him a long time to process what he had just witnessed. The woman he had been speaking to had actually entered Leonardo’s car. He wondered if he had seen something he shouldn't have, and whether he would face repercussions because of it.

Looking around, he realized that all his colleagues who had been present had already disappeared, leaving him alone. He immediately turned and sprinted back to his workstation, as if running fast enough could erase the incident from his mind. Meanwhile, the car was oddly quiet. Simon subtly signaled to Gary, who instantly understood and raised the partition between the front and back seats, granting Leonardo and Samantha privacy.

Samantha felt uneasy. She hadn’t done anything wrong, yet she felt as though she had just been caught cheating. Finally, Leonardo broke the silence. "Do you give your number to just anyone?"

"Well, he didn’t seem like a bad person, so I did," she replied.

"Then, what about me?" he asked, a hint of teasing in his voice. Samantha was taken aback; she didn’t understand the connection to Leonardo. But then it hit her. She remembered how he had previously given her his business card and asked her to add his number on WhatsApp. At the time, she had no intention of doing it and had kept putting it off.

In the end, Leonardo had waited for her to finish work late one night, all so that she could consider it. She thought that matter was long settled, but he had brought it up again now. "I accidentally forgot about it at that time. I didn’t do it on purpose," she explained. "You can add someone on the spot, but when it comes to someone else, you need to think about it, right? Not to mention, you even forget about it."

Under Leonardo's scrutiny, Samantha felt so guilty that she could hardly breathe. She couldn't shake the feeling that she had committed a great offense. After a while, she finally managed to respond, "I’m sorry. I really didn’t do it on purpose." Her apology was sincere.

Upon hearing her genuine remorse, Leonardo could no longer find any reason to be upset with her. In fact, he felt a wave of understanding wash over him. With a sigh, he changed the subject. "Just be careful not to randomly add any shady people."

"But doesn’t he work at your company? How can he be considered shady?" Leonardo fell silent. Samantha caught his warning gaze and quickly covered her mouth.

"Sorry, I’ll keep quiet now." Truthfully, she didn’t want to save that guy’s number anyway. Just then, the car arrived at a prestigious private hospital. As the patients streamed through the main outpatient entrance, they were guided via the VIP passage. Additionally, a designated staff member escorted them all the way to a private lounge.
