Chapter 153 Chapter 154 Chapter 154 Decades of bad blood were finally coming to a head that day. In Julius' mind, Lucius was just a spoiled rich kid, coddled by Melvin. He was blessed with good looks, and he'd hogged every advantage in the White family because of it. Julius wanted to see if the man he thought was a pampered heir could survive without Silas or his bodyguards to save him. The four women were trained fighters whom Julius had handpicked to take Lucius down. It was the four of them against him alone-he didn't stand a chance.
The room was soundproofed, so even if he screamed for help, no one outside would hear a thing. As Julius savored the thought of crushing his rival, the tables turned in a way he never saw coming. Lucius, whom he'd written off as a weakling, took less than five minutes to subdue all four of the women. "This can't be happening!" Julius' eyes bulged, and his voice cracked as he stared at Lucius. " How... How did you..." Just then, the locked doors burst open, and Silas stormed in with a crew of bodyguards. "Mr. White, we've dealt with the trash outside." Julius trembled in fright at those words.
Lucius straightened his slightly rumpled shirt and pulled a chair up, sitting across from Julius with a relaxed air. "We could've just had a civil family dinner, yet you had to make things messy." He plucked a cigar from the box and handed it to Silas, who lit it with a flick of his lighter. While waiting for the cigar to burn, Lucius let out a soft sigh. "You're getting on in years. You could've enjoyed fine cigars, fine food, and your kept women in a big villa. You could've lived the good life. Why did you just have to fight me?" He shoved the lit cigar into Julius' mouth.

"Enjoy this last feast." Then, he stood up and loomed over Julius. "After all, they don't sell your favorite cigars in the countryside." Julius spat out the cigar as panic rose within him. "You're sending me to the countryside?" Lucius' expression turned cold. "Windmere's too messy. If you stay here, I can't guarantee you'll live long." Before leaving, he gave Silas a sharp order. "I don't want to see these people in the city after X CLOSE Get full chapters from find{n}ovel.net Chapter 154 tomorrow." Silas nodded.
"Consider it done, sir." Outside the restaurant, Keane was already waiting in the car. Before driving off, he handed Lucius a stack of documents. "Mr. White, here's the background on those punks from last night." 2/2 Lucius hadn't forgotten one of the lowlifes who'd claimed to be his nephew. The White family's branches were sprawling, so a distant nephew he'd never met wasn't exactly shocking. He flipped through the files, finding that aside from Jay, he hadn't even heard of the three other men. However, the one calling himself Lucius' nephew, the one everyone had called Mr.
Shore, caught his eye. His name was Eugene Shore, and he'd just turned 20. Technically, the kid could call Lucius his uncle. He was the nephew of Gerard Shore, Lucius' brother-in-law, who was married to his sister, Delia White. It was a distant connection, but it checked out. Chapter 155
