Chapter 8 Chapter 8 Declan's POV On the day of the Luna Ceremony, the whole Vale Pack was buzzing. I stood in front of the mirror, my hands shaking as I fixed the chain on my chest. The Luna Ceremony was supposed to be this sacred thing where Nora and I would bond under the Moon Goddess. But now it was just fake bullshit with Cassia. I felt sick, but I didn't have a choice. "Once this is over, I'll go straight to the Council and ask them to let you take Nora and get out of here. You won't have to wait around for me to have your kid or any of that." Cassia's deal kept playing in my head.
