12. Powerful Haze 1124 Words FREYA POV He turned and smirked at me when she left. "I like seeing your fire." he said to me as he started walking over to me. "Oh no." I put my hand up for him to stop, "you're not getting off that easy, Alpha." He gave me a confused look, "What now?" "Where have you been the last two nights if you haven't been in your own bed?" clearly he's been sleeping somewhere else. "Is that a little jealousy I see?" he chuckled full of humor. It just angered me. "Seriously Colt." I took a step back from him, "Have you really been off with someone else every night?

Because I know you haven't been with me all night like I said!" He stepped forward, "The first night you got here I didn't sleep, I went out and hunted." he motioned to an invisible table "that's what we ate at breakfast yesterday morning." I motioned for him to go on. There's still another night he hasn't told me about yet. He sighed, rubbed his hand over his mouth and then shifted his feet a little, "Freya last night I was outside your hut all night." He could obviously tell I was shocked by that.

"I convinced myself I needed to stand watch in case those guys came back." he rubbed the back of his neck, I'm beginning to realize he does that when he's a little nervous, "In reality I spent the whole damn night trying to convince myself to go be with you inside." he sighed. I can't lie, I was shocked. That wasn't what I was expecting. Is he being serious? "I know I just met you, Freya."
