Chapter 48 Annie stormed out of the hospital , her face hard and her fists clenched as if every insult shed swallowed over the year finally exploded .

She felt as though the ghosts of her past were clawing their way back into her life , pulling her down .

She got inside her car and headed straight to the pharmacy .
