---- Chapter 7 Francis and Zoey were dragged in by the bodyguards. The arrogance they'd shown at the amusement park the day before was now completely gone. Their hair was a mess, their clothes disheveled, and their frightened faces streaked with tears. The moment they saw me, both of them collapsed to their knees with a loud thud. "Mr. Guzman! We were wrong!" Zoey cried. "We were blind! We didn't think before we acted. Please show mercy and spare our families!" Her forehead began bleeding as she slammed it against the floor again and again, looking utterly pitiful. Francis was no better.
Tears and snot streamed down his face. He crawled toward me, reaching for my leg." William! I mean, Mr. Guzman! I'll never dare to cross you again. It was all that dumb bitch Yvonne's idea! She told me that as long as we drove you away, she'd marry me. I was fooled by her!" I kicked his hand away in disgust. Watching the two of them humiliate themselves like this was amusing. "Now you know you were wrong? Yesterday, when you had me hanging upside down from the drop tower, ---- weren't you having a great time?" My voice was soft, but both of them trembled even harder.

"I..." Zoey opened her mouth to speak, but no words came out. Francis continued to ramble, "I was blinded by jealousy! I loved Yvonne too much. That's why I did something so stupid! Mr. Guzman, please. You're kind. Just forgive me this once!" "Love?" I scoffed. "What you loved was the position of future husband of Singer Tech's CEO, right?" I tossed a stack of documents onto the floor in front of him. "Take a look. This is the woman you love." The papers were a detailed investigative report on Yvonne.
It clearly documented how she, while with me, had maintained ambiguous relationships with several wealthy heirs at the same time. She had been whispering sweet nothings to me while making promises to other men. To her, Francis was merely the biggest fish in her sea. As Francis flipped through the pages, his face turned pale. Suddenly, he looked up, his eyes filled with hatred. " Yvonne Singer, you lying bitch! I'll kill her!" he screamed, lunging toward the door. ---- I said nonchalantly, "Too late. She can barely protect herself now.
She has no time to deal with your feelings." Then, I turned my gaze to Zoey. Her body stiffened instantly as she stared at me in terror. I couldn't be bothered to say another word. I waved my hand dismissively. "Mr. Chance, before nightfall, I want to see news headlines of them begging on the streets. Let them finally fulfill the wish I made back then." Oswald paused for a moment, then understood immediately. "Yes, Mr. Guzman." That evening, on the busiest commercial street in the city center, an eye-catching scene appeared.
Yvonne, Francis, and Zoey, all dressed in tattered clothes, were begging on the streets. Each of them wore a placard around their necks, printed in bold black letters with their names and the crimes they had committed. Beside them, amassive digital screen played footage on a 24-hour loop. Crowds gathered. People whispered, pointed, and took photos. They tried to leave, but black-clad bodyguards surrounded them, blocking every path of escape. They ---- tried to kill themselves, but the guards thoughtfully stopped any attempt at self-harm.
They would stay there for an entire month, living each day on spare change and scorn from strangers. They were left to repent for their sins in endless humiliation and despair.
