Chapter 18 Chapter 18 Nora's POV GORE I looked down and saw Finley gripping a bunch of stuffed animals in his arms, with more scattered around his feet. Then I remembered that his mom had passed away, and these toys were all he had left of her. I told Tobias to take Finley and run, promising Finley I'd grab every single toy and bring them back to the sanctuary. After Tobias left with Finley, I quickly found a bag and shoved the stuffed animals inside. Just as I threw the bag over my shoulder, a landslide crashed through the window. Everything stopped, and fear took over.
