Finally, that elevator moved. With a soft ding, the executive elevator came down from the top floor, doors slowly opening as someone walked out. Instantly, Cassia's dead eyes suddenly came alive. Ignoring her sore knees, she scrambled to her feet and rushed toward the person. "Declan! I-" Her voice was full of hope and excitement as she carefully reached out toward them.
