She gave a soft shiver, instinctively attempting to pull her hand back, but he held it steadfast.

His cool, thin lips enveloped her fingers, gently sucking as if her fingers were sweeter and more delectable than the orange.

For a moment, the icy facade on his face disappeared, a hint of tenderness he’d never shown before emerged from his eyes, creating gentle ripples in his shimmering gaze.
