As Judy stood, ready to launch a counterattack, David

As Danielle turned to go after Ivan, Elliot emerged

from the basement, dragging Ivan behind him—tightly

bound.

"Nice job, Elliot."

“This bastard had a tunnel that led straight to the

parking lot. If we’d been even a minute later, he

would’ve escaped."

“Time to wrap it up. Let’s head home."

Awoman, dressed provocatively, walked through the

neighborhood, feeling like she was being followed.

Looking around nervously, she didn’t spot anyone.

Panicking, she pulled out her phone and dialed a

number. The phone was quickly answered.

“Geoffrey, | think someone’s following me. Where are

you? I’m so scared, please come quickly."

Her voice, soft and trembling, made Geoffrey’s heart

ache.

“Don’t be scared, darling. I’m on my way. I’ll protect

you."

“Okay, I’ll wait for you." Her voice was no longer

trembling but full of a smile.

Geoffrey had been going through files in his study, but

when he heard her voice, his heart melted. He

grabbed his coat and rushed out of the room.

something wrong?"

Polly looked up from her freshly done nails and

asked, concerned.

Geoffrey, realizing she was there, awkwardly replied,

project. Don’t wait up for me. Go to bed."

Polly smiled sweetly. "You’re really busy. Make sure

you take care of yourself."

some rest. I’ll be back soon."

Before Polly could say anything else, he rushed out
